Don’t be a bystander to genocide.
“In a new report, the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem describes the development of a “genocidal regime in Israel, working to destroy Palestinian society in Gaza.” Physicians for Human Rights-Israel (PHRI) has published a legal-medical analysis documenting the deliberate and systematic destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system. Both Israeli organizations call on Israelis and the international community to take immediate action to stop the genocide, using all legal tools available under international law.” Read the report here

U.S. Taxpayers File Historic Legal Complaint in DC on May 14, Charging the U.S. Government with Complicity in Genocide
Taxpayers from Both Coasts and in-between Converge in DC
“We are filing this complaint at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights because the U.S. government has effectively shielded itself from accountability for its international crimes under its own legal system, even for crimes against humanity and genocide.” -- Huwaida Arraf, lead attorney and also one of the founders of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition
On Wednesday, May 14, Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG) and the National Lawyers Guild International Committee filed a legal complaint with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) against the U.S. government for complicity in genocide in Gaza. The lawsuit includes notarized affidavits by Palestinian-American plaintiffs who have lost loved ones to the U.S.-funded genocide. One plaintiff, Monadel Herzallah, has lost 43 family members. He states: “We as Palestinians in the U.S. have sought accountability in federal court but we also made a pledge to seek justice in any other possible venue available.” In the words of Susan Abulhawa, Palestinian human rights activist, best selling author, and the lead petitioner in this complaint: “I want to do everything in my power to put a stop to the unfathomable horrors that I witnessed in Gaza.”

What Next?
TAG, in partnership with National Lawyers Guild attorneys submitted a report to the UN Human Rights Council and has filed a legal complaint to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, detailing evidence of U.S. participation in genocide.
TAG has launched an urgent campaign on the global stage. On April 7, we submitted a groundbreaking report to the UN Human Rights Council as part of its Universal Periodic Review of the US government, exposing systemic injustices and human rights violations. Then this past Spring, on May 14, we escalated our efforts by filing a formal complaint against the US government with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
These actions amplify the voices of Palestinians and those fighting against genocide and systemic violence within the US.
Real change is possible, but only through the collective power of the people. Together, we will confront the violence of the US government and create a world rooted in liberation, indigenous sovereignty, self-determination, and land back. . Stand with us. The time to act is NOW.
